The Introductory Membership is available to first time full members at a discounted rate. The Introductory Membership carries the same privileges as a full membership, including all testing and competition rights. Introductory Members must designate the Garden State Skating Club as their “Home Club”. Introductory Members may but are not required to purchase ice time. This membership option is only available to first time USFS members or Learn to Skate USA members.

The Full Family Membership option includes membership to the Garden State Skating Club and U.S. Figure Skating for one skater and one parent. This option allows the skater to test at USFS sponsored test sessions, compete at USFS sanctioned events, participate is USFS qualifying events, represent your club at regional, sectional and national events and participate in all sanctioned events. Full Family Members will also receive a subscription to SKATING magazine, an individually numbered membership card and coverage under USFS sports accident insurance policy.

The Additional Family Membership is available for those family members that reside at the same permanent address as a family member who is registered as a Full Family Member. The Additional Family Membership carries all of the same privileges as the Full Family Membership.

The Professional Membership includes Garden State Skating Club and U.S. Figure Skating Membership for individuals who teach skating and who are no longer competing or testing. All Professional Members must provide the Club with proof of membership in the ISI, U.S. Figure Skating, or PSA and with a certificate of professional insurance covering the entire Club membership year.

The Associate Membership is available for those skaters who are members of another USFS skating club and would like to participate in Garden State Skating Club events or skate on “Club Ice”. Associate Members must be a member in good standing of his or her “Home Club” and U.S. Figure Skating. Associate Members are not considered Garden State Skating Club members and do not have voting rights.

The Collegiate Membership is a four year membership that is available to full time college students at a reduced rate. This membership option includes all of the rights and privileges as a Full Family Membership, including the right to vote as a Club Member. The Collegiate Membership is not renewable and each athlete may receive this option once during their skating career.
