Garden State Skating Club was incorporated in 1954 in Asbury Park, NJ. Our first home ice arena was located in Convention Hall in
Asbury Park . Since then we have been located in various rinks including the Ocean Ice Palace, The Brick Forum, and Winding River
Skating Center. And now our our new home at the Howell Ice World.
The purpose of the Garden State Skating Club is to encourage
and foster the instruction, practice, and advancement of our members in figures, free skating, pair skating, dance, moves in the field,
synchronized and other areas of figure skating. We encourage and cultivate a community of interest among ice skaters. We endeavor
to sponsor, produce, and cooperate in the production of amateur ice competitions, tests, and shows; and to carry out the general policies
of US Figure Skating.
